Hello everyone,
Phew, with nearly all shipments delivered and a completed firmware distributed, I am calling this Kickstarter as over. We started this journey together almost a year ago and along the way, we faced global supply chain delays, increases in the cost of materials & transportation plus numerous other challenges that kept us up at night over and again.
Crowdfunding is about being part of our community. You became part of our company during this time, pushing us to deliver on a promise and helping us to remain focused on the end goal; launching our Subwoofer. Thank you!

Firmware update instructions are here

Hi everyone,
For all orders outside of USA and Canada, and for any USA orders received before Aug. 10th, you will want to update the firmware on your subwoofer and speakers to get the latest features, function, and performance improvements. Orders to Canada and orders shipped within the US after Aug. 10th will come pre-loaded with these firmware files installed.
Read this first:
1. You will need a Windows PC. The app is small and can be removed after the update.
2. You will also need a Type-C data cable. The charging cable will not work. If you are uncertain if you have a Type-C data cable, you can attempt the SPEAKER firmware update. If the installer does not respond as shown in the videos/instructions, then you will need to buy or borrow one.
- Type-C data cables cost less than $10 on Amazon and Rocksteady will reimburse you up to $10 if you need to buy one. Send a copy of your invoice and your Paypal address to [email protected] for reimbursement. (Reimbursement only please to those who fall into the categories above and do not have the latest firmwares on their new devices).

Shipping has resumed, firmwares are complete

Wow, what a week, month, year, and five years. I am certain the battles ahead will continue for us, but I have hard time believing it will match the stress and uncertainty our little company faced these past few months.
Today, we completed all firmware testing and have begun shipping again. All outstanding orders in the US will ship within the next 48 hours and all Canadian orders will ship within the next 72 hours (Canada, we love you, and please remain patient, your shipment is coming from the US and may take a bit longer).
Thank you to everyone for your support, extreme patience, and for giving us the opportunity to move our project forward.
In this new firmware:
- Fixed error on both subwoofer and on speakers where the split audio channels were not functioning.
- Improved range between host devices and satellites.
- Fixed 3 small user-interface issues
- Improved the function of the the Aux input.
For everyone outside of North America, we will be sending out update instructions next, but probably not until next week.

End of July Rocksteady Stadium Kickstarter Update - IMPORTANT

Hi Everyone,
This past month has been a wild and busy one for us at Rocksteady. After years of hard work and with your help, our Subwoofer launched and this phase of our company vision was realized.
Many of you responded that you are loving the sound that Rocksteady delivers, and we are grateful for the feedback and confirmation of what we are trying to achieve.
Now some bad news... The LEFT/RIGHT switch on all the speakers we shipped as part of the Kickstarter orders is not functioning properly. We identified the issue within the firmware and have been testing and retesting a new software build that we will start to distribute in the coming days.
Be on the lookout for an email and instructions in the coming days.
Note to Canadian customers and some US customers: We froze shipping as soon as we found out about the software issue. All Canadian orders and about 25 US orders were held back. Your inventory will be updated and shipped first.

Delivery update

Hi Everyone,
We've been getting a lot of calls and emails asking where your order is, and the answer is, its coming...
We first shipped all our express orders; those who paid extra for expedited shipping. All those orders have been delivered and we seem to have a lot of happy campers...
Second, we split the orders by territory. Asia and Australian orders shipped directly from China to the customers, and most of those have delivered too.
Lastly, the European and American orders shipped in bulk and are being re-routed as units direct to consumers, and those started getting delivered late last week and with most delivering this next coming week.
Some people who did not back our Kickstarter but did reserve a speaker on our website received emails letting them know their order is ready to be completed. Those pre-order customers are being provided a link to complete their purchase.
If you are a Kickstarter supporter, you have nothing left to do but to be a patient just a tad longer. You will be getting the first Subwoofers and speakers from this production and you will have gotten the best price by far.
